Unmanageability
(#1, from "A Spiritual Solution")
Unmanageability is the deranged state of mind that believes it can control life. The more I need to control, the more out of control I am. It is the turmoil within that causes the outside to become unbearable. When I address the inside the outside loses its need to be addressed. I stop creating havoc against a world I choose to blame. When I stop trying to nail down the tornado I whipped up, the storm subsides on its own. When I let the dust settle, I have a much clearer view. When I take care of the present, only the present, I am presently OK. The present is ALL I have.
Managing life is like financial security; Two constructs created as a result of fear of lack of control of either for the erroneous hope the possibility of control of both does exist.
